Antique George II English Sterling Silver Salver Tray London 1735 Georgian
Antique George II Sterling Silver Salver London 1735 - 1736. Here we have an English sterling silver salver, or tray made during the reign of England's George II. The salver has an undulating piecrust edge, is raised on 3 feet and is made of heavy gauge silver. The makers mark is rubbed, although I believe the maker is probably George Greenhill Jones, who is listed as working during the 2nd qtr. A true antique for your collection or Georgian interior.
