Welcome to William Sharpe Antiques. Here today for your consideration we have this superb Georgian set of four sterling silver dinner forks, made by Richard Crossley of London, c-1802/1803. This beautiful set has been produced in the Old English Thread pattern, and is of very good quality and gauge. Each fork features a well executed crest to the verso, with the hallmarks being about 90% overall. A wonderful set of Georgian silver for the collection. Inspections are available seven days a week, with flexible timing. Sterling silver offered at William Sharpe Antiques is original and authentic, showing signs of use over its life. Unless expressly stated above, all pieces are free from major structural damage. However, normal signs of use including shallow depressions, fine scratches, and minor pattern and hallmark wear should be expected. All pieces (unless expressly stated above) have undertaken a very light polish with respect to the original patina, and a decision for further polishing will be left to the new custodian.
