Here is an antique Georgian sterling silver tea caddy spoon with a slim mother of pearl handle. There is cross hatch carved decoration around the inner edge of the bowl.
Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1809 (the date letter is just visible through the decoration) and the makers mark is SP for Samuel Pemberton. 1/2 inches in total length. It is in overall good condition with general age and use wear, I would say there has been a repair at the base of the spoon connecting it to the handle, but if so then it's been soldered with silver and is good and solid.Lots of scratches to the inside base of the spoon. Please see the close up pictures for more detail. Pics taken next to an English 1p coin.
