Welcome to William Sharpe Antiques. Here today for your consideration we have this superb Georgian sterling silver milk jug, made by Thomas Dicks of London c-1820. This wonderful piece stands atop four ball feet, maintaining a relatively simply body free of monogram or crest and terminating in a pie-crust rim and having leaf detail to the handle. Condition is good used, with no major damage aside the usual scratches and pinpricks from 200 years of love.
The piece has been lightly cleaned with respect for patina. The jug stands 8cm tall measuring about 13cm handle-to-spout.
