ANTIQUE GEORGIAN ENGLISH STERLING SILVER GILT VINAIGRETTE, c1813. A very good quality, Antique, Georgian English Silver Gilt Vinaigrette made in Birmingham by John Shaw and dating from c1813. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "IS" for John Shaw, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Birmingham town mark and date letter "P" for 1813/14. The exterior of the box decoratibe engraving. The lid opening to reveal a lovely, decorative grill.
