This is an antique 18th-century (1777) George III sterling silver cruet set. Comprises five Georgian antique bottles with solid silver lids. The bottles all have matching diamond patterned cut glass. The silver lids are unmarked but tested and all are of sterling grade silver. The stand is hallmarked in several places.
All three of the silver claw feet are individually hallmarked. Original matching handle, attached firmly without wobble, it can be detached from the stand.The cruet set is free from personal inscriptions or monograms. It comes with a sought after, solid silver antique'ketchup' label. A lovely well proportioned, genuine 242 year old Georgian antique silver cruet set. HALLMARKS : London , SILVER fineness 925.
DIMENSION: Diameter of stand 14cm (5 1/2). Height of bottles 14.5cm (5 3/4).
Height to handle 20.5cm (8). CONDITION : Some age related wear. Two of the lids have repairs and splits.
