Superb George III Hallmarked Solid Sterling Silver Caddy Spoon Made By Samuel Pemberton. Descrip tion - Delightful early 19th century solid silver tea caddy spoon of shovel form with a wood handle and engraved initials "W G".
Fully hallmarked with anchor for Birmingham assay, the lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, King's head, date letter "k" for the year 1808 and the maker's mark "SP" which is Samuel Pemberton. Condition - The spoon in good condition, there are some scratches to the bowl and handle's seam has split (please inspect end photograph) despite this the handle is secure with no looseness what so ever.Dimensions & Weight - 7.2cm long, the bowl is 3.3cm wide.
