Market-fresh George III sterling silver epergne. Made by Thomas Pitts in London in 1766. Pierced and oval support set in round floral garland frame with four leafing scroll supports on same feet. Large and pierced oval basket, surrounded by alternating same small baskets and solid round dishes in open frames attached to leaf-capped branches.
