One piece is made by Samuel Pemberton of Birmingham in 1809, and the second one - by Matthew Linwood, Birmingham, 1807. These darling vinaigrettes measure: 1" long and 3/4" wide, 7/8" long and 5/8" wide, weighing a total 15.1 grams. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition, having use marks consistent with age and normal use, with no monograms, removals, repairs or modifications, make this an especially attractive offering.
