A stunning pair of Georgian solid sterling silver berry serving spoons. They are hallmarked for London 1818 and 1820 with the makers marks being WB for William Bateman I. They have been beautifully designed having nicely embossed and engraved bowls and handles and have been gilded - the decoration was usually added in the Victorian era. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure over 8.75 inches (22.5cms) long by over 1.75 inches (4.8cms) wide and have a heavy combined weight of 120 grams.
