A beautiful pair of solid sterling silver serving spoons. They are hallmarked for London one dating 1810 and the other 1816 with the makers marks being PB over WB for Peter & William Bateman and GD for George Day.
They have been beautifully made having superbly designed handles and bowls - this embossed work was done during the more elaborate Victorian era, these have been engraved 1868 which is when it was most likely done. The terminals have been engraved with a crest for the Flood or Solly-Flood family.
They are in perfect condition being free from dings splits and repairs. They measure over 8.5 inches (22cms) long by 1.75 inches (4.5cms) wide and have a combined weight of weighs 106 grams.
