Georgian sterling silver quart tankard Date : Hallmarked for Edward Pocock in London 1729 Period : George II Origin : London, England Decoration : Scrolled handle engraved "DWM". Tapered shape with reeded band, solid thumb piece and domed lid. Engraved armorial unknown Size : 20.5cm height Condition : Very good. A small shallow bruise on the right side of the handle. The lid may have been reattached at some point, there is a little "solder pool" the the right of the thumb piece Restoration : Professionally cleaned Weight : 824 grams, 26.5 Oz troy.
