Georgian sterling silver milk jug / creamer, made in London circa 1770. This is a lovely silver cream jug with a wide pouring spout and flared beaded top rim above curving sides and it stands on a spreading round pedestal base. The creamer has a scroll handle with leaf thumbpiece.
The body of the creamer has chased leaves, flowers and spiral fluted decoration. The creamer is 4-1/4 inches / 107 mm wide to the back of the handle and it stands 4-3/8 inches / 110 mm tall. The creamer weighs 104 grams.
The cream jug has worn hallmarks and maker's mark.
