GEORGIAN STERLING SILVER TEAPOT, BY EMES & BARNARD, LONDON, c 1813
A Georgian sterling silver tea pot, by renowned silversmiths, Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard. It is full hallmarked for London, circa 1813. It has a family crest on either side of the pot, so maybe it was a marriage piece? It is in very good, estate condition, with no obvious major dings or splits, in either the wood or the silver components and the handle and lid are snug.

There are a couple of very fine indentions to the body, but are hardly noticeable. Any imperfections, are reflected in the low asking price.

Look at the photos carefully and decide yourself. The beautifully grained wooden walnut?

Handle is a bit dried out though and needs a good polish. Dimensions (including handle): L 290mm, W 135mm, H 150mm. Sent by registered & insured post only.
