A lovely pair of Georgian silver chambersticks made by Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard and both identically hallmarked in London 1809. They are in very good condition and made with a heavy gauge of silver. Hallmarks are clearly struck and each chamberstick has an armorial which incorporates a quiver and arrows.
There is gadroon decoration to the rims and ball finials to the snuffers. One of the snuffers although identical is not hallmarked and is possibly a replacement. A fine pair of chambersticks from these well respected Georgian silversmiths. Weight 595 gms (21 ozs). Width 15 cms (6.5 ins) (including handle 17 cms).
