Rare Antique George III Hallmarked Solid Sterling Caddy Spoon Made By Samuel Godbehere & Edward Wigan. Description - Wonderful Antique late 18th century George III solid silver Caddy spoon with an oval bowl. The bowl and handle have been beautifully hand engraved. Terminal has the engraved initials "MJC".Hallmarked with the lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, the King's head, the London date letter "u" for the year 1795 and the maker's mark SG. EW which is the London silversmiths. Samuel Godbehere & Edward Wigan. Condition - The spoon is in very good condition, there are no dents, dinks, dints, splits, holes or repairs.
