A Rare George III Hallmarked Sterling Silver 4 Egg Cruet and Spoons with Central Salt by Robert Hennell I and Samuel Hennell. The Stand has a height of 7" (top of handle) with the frame 5 7/8" square with the master central salt 3" in diameter with the egg cups 2 7/8" in height and 2 1/4" diameter to the upper rim and 1 1/2" to the base with the egg spoons 3 7/8" in length with the bowls 1 5/8" in length. The Egg Cruet Set has a substantial Weight of 19.2 oz or 544 grams. The Set is Stunning with the frame standing on 4 elongated feet with arched.Supports between each leg which is also used as a stand for the egg cups with the upper rim matching in shape and also beautifully gadrooned to the full circumference and to each inner curve there is a shaped holder for each egg spoon to the centre you have a detachable central salt again with a gadrooned border and over the top swing handle used for carrying the cruet set with each egg cup spoon and the central salt beautifully gilded to the. The Set is Free of any Initials or Monograms.
