A rare set of Georgian solid sterling silver cutlery rests. They are hallmarked for 1816 with the makers mark being TP over IP for Thomas & James Phipps II.
They have been superbly designed having cross and ball ends. They are in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs.
They measure 2.5 inches (6.3cms) long by 1 inch (2.6cms) tall and have a combined weight of 37 grams. Good quality nicely designed early examples.
