Rare Pair George II Solid Silver Salvers, London 1736. A rare pair of George II silver salvers, Dating to London 1736. With cast pie crust and shell rims, standing on three hoof feet. Each salver with an ornate coat of arms engraved to the centre. Hallmarked to undersides for John Tuite, London 1736.
John Tuite was a specialist salver maker in the early Georgian period. A lovely, early Georgian pair of salvers from a top quality maker. In good antique condition with expected wear. Various small dings and surface wear throughout.
