An early George III silver hot water coffee pot, of bellied form raised upon a spreading circular foot, with chased floral and foliate decoration to the whole, with a foliate capped scroll handle having bone insulators, and conforming decoration to hinged lid. Hallmarked Lewis Herne & Francis Butty, London 1764.
Height 8.75 (22.25cm), gross weight 13ozt (405.4 grams). Hallmarks rubbed on base but date letter makers initials and other marks partly visible. In extremely good condition for age being almost 260 years of age.
