This is a lovely and large antique sterling silver teapot made by John Wakefield and hallmarked in London 1816. It is in very good condition with no repair or damage.
Made with a thick gauge of silver and clearly hallmarked both to the main body and lid. There is gadroon decoration to the lower part and applied decoration to the spout and handle which incorporates a thumbpiece.
